Soltero Resources, Inc. (SRI) was founded by Gene Soltero, an MIT-educated Petroleum Economics Fellow with over 40 years' experience in the energy sector. SRI began by offering consulting services to oil industry companies in 1982 through the Soltero Oil Company. Today, SRI is an exploration & production company that is also actively engaged in oil & gas company startups, project financing, producing property acquisition programs and exploratory drilling programs. SRI's Trading arm has been active in crude oil, natural gas and refined products trading, and SRI's M&A team has provided advisory services on refinery acquisitions and disposals as well as multi-billion dollar upstream corporate acquisitions.

PUBLIC COMPANY STARTUPS

We designed the structure of three different public oil & gas companies by organizing two reverse mergers into existing public shells, conducting a spin-off and public distribution of a convertible preferred stock and organizing an initial public offering.

STOCK EXCHANGES

We managed the listing applications and organized trading of client companies on the American Stock Exchange, the NASDAQ Small Cap Market, the Toronto Stock Exchange, the Canadian Dealer Network and the OTC Bulletin Board.
